The role of the Creative Director is requiring strong inspirational leadership and communication skills. We are looking for a hands-on approach with someone who leads by example. They must be a high-end team builder and above all have exceptional Creative Direction ability in the field of Experiential Marketing. The CD is someone who is involved in multiple projects at once and able to determine whether the work created is to the best of the company capabilities.

The Creative Director must have an acute sense of visual aesthetics and timing in all media, a highly developed knowledge of the immersive media, arts, interactive, architecture, and visual communication is essential.  He or she should understand appropriate technology and techniques used in all aspects of the production process. He/she is often the link with the client therefore must have an in-depth awareness of client requirements and how to guide them through the creative process, often with a great deal of diplomacy, to achieve an exceptional result for all parties.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • The role requires a Creative Leader, able to translate client briefs into creative strategies with a focus on Interactive / Immersive Experiences, Linear and Non-Linear Storytelling.
  • Lead pitch from inception to execution
  • Conceptualize, visualize, and propose ideas which meet client’s objectives and brand preposition
  • Navigate ambiguity, understand complex concepts and challenges, and turn ideas into logical strategies and successful products online and offline.
  • Propose, plan, oversee and direct projects from conceptualization to execution with a hands-on approach.
  • Create journey map according to proposed story and narrative online and offline
  • Create Concept art for CG Team and ensure CG aesthetically is up to the company’s standards, keeping technicalities at the forefront of the execution process.
  • Direct Media Content & CG outcome for clients online and offline
  • The role will include “selling” The company’s creative solutions at a high level to clients, and working with the team to identify creative opportunities and establishing client relationships.
  • The role requires the external and internal promotion of the company’s experience, ideation, CG and directing capabilities by helping to define its marketing and sales strategy; the primary purpose being to secure key projects and accounts for The Mill by overseeing key pitches and treatments.
  • The CD will be responsible, along with the senior management team, for the successful growth of the company’s capability, as part of the company’s long-term business and strategic growth plan.
  • Regularly engage with key management, heads of department and Mill creatives to promote dialogue, influence and knowledge sharing.
  • In conjunction with other senior members of management, be proactive in exploring new areas of business opportunity and encouraging work-smart strategies that will improve efficiency and help to maintain a robust and profitable pipeline to counter to external influences such as the economy, changes in technology etc.

Job Summary

The Experiential Producer manages best-in-class, creative projects, interactive experiences and XR Projects within events, exhibitions, expos, museum and physical spaces from acquisition through launch, with specific expertise in producing experiential, physical and digital projects.

The Experiential Producer is the nucleus of a project, serving as the primary point of communication with the client, while driving the internal project team’s process, planning, and communication.

 

The Experiential Producer will work independently, while receiving mentorship from Senior and Creative XR (Extended Reality) Producers. He/she will independently manage 2-5 projects simultaneously, and understands priorities in the context of agency and client expectations, turning ideas into actionable tactics, timelines, budgets and deliverables.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Creates, manages and oversees detailed project plans and documentation, including contracts, SOWs, changes of scope, schedules and budgets.
  • Manages the day-to-day running of creative and production teams across disciplines (design, content, software development, spatial) – facilitating and leading productive conversations.
  • Leads project status meetings and updates with internal teams, vendors and clients.
  • Lead the discovery phases of projects and determine project approach and scope, which then need to be translated to action items.
  • Continues to lead teams throughout the project lifecycle to ideate, develop, and define concept specifications and functional requirements.
  • Leads production and installation teams to execute and implement designs, media content, and applications across disciplines.
  • Coordinates regularly with external design and production partners (like AV integrators, fabrication teams, lighting specialists, visual content specialists, Interactive studios, and software engineers) to ensure the creative vision is integrated and executed through each phase of the project.
  • Manages XR Experiences execution between creative and fabrication team to achieve seamless user-friendly experience physically in the space.
  • Assigns tasks to vendors and manages production of work throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Minimizes exposure to risk by identifying potential scope creep and working with internal teams and clients to mitigate risks.
  • Uses appropriate methods to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs.

Experience:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in New Media or relevant experience in the field of XR (MR,VR,AR)
  • Agency Background is a must

The Role:

We are searching for a creative and energetic Motion Graphics Designer to join our dynamic and fun team.  This role will be responsible for creating custom 2d/3d animated videos for commercial and government organizations.

The role requires working independently but in close collaboration with other team members.  The role also requires the ability to work quickly with attention to detail and an eye for quality and aesthetics.

 

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Assets and animation creation from concept to storyboarding to animation
  • Conceptualize, visualize and storyboard scripts, animations and visual images for custom designed videos, explainers, thematic, exhibitions, advertisement and films.
  • Modify and/or rework existing motion graphic assets
  • Collaboration with internal cross-function teams (project managers, writers and lead designers)

The right person for this role will have the following qualifications:

  • At least two years of professional motion graphics/animation experience
  • Excellent command of the Adobe package with emphasis on 3D software skill set (Blender, Houdini, 3DMax, Maya, C4D, or similar)
  • Strong knowledge of animation principles
  • Ability to follow style guidelines, concept art and direction provided by other team members.
  • Ability to provide creative solutions to solve challenges
  • Excellent written and spoken English language skills (Arabic is an advantage)
